Hi, my name is David Veenstra. I've been a Registered Massage Therapist for over a decade. I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2007.

I'm an athlete- always have been, always will be. Being physical is a life style, for me and I believe for you; more than our diet or workout routine, it's the constant pursuit of pushing our mental emotional and physical boundaries.  Whether we achieve our goals or not, we learn, grow and evolve.

I've dabbled in almost everything. Gymnastics gave me my foundation for understanding the human body and how it works. I played competitive basket ball and volleyball, making it four times to provincials. After high school, I started body building to fill the void of team sports. I competed in 2004 and placed 3rd in my division. In 2005, I biked across Canadato raise funds for church plants across Canada- trip of a life time, just ask. In 2015, I started open water swimming. After four months of training, I met my 5K goal for crossing-and returning- Buntzen Lake.

Most recently, I drank the "Cool aid" of crossfit and been training for three and a half years now.

I competed in 2018 CanWest games, placing 6th in Masters Men, 35-39. It was a great experience and I met my personal goal. Im training to podium next year. I've also done track, diving, skiing, snowboarding- even ballroom dancing with my wife. You know what they say: happy wife, happy life!

My experience plays a large role in my treatment and training, in addition to my formal training and ongoing continuing ed. It's the knowledge I bring to the table. Not to mention, my rehab from personal injuries! I know first hand, they can stop you from living and enjoying life. No Athlete wants to be sidelined.

I have an intuitive gift for healing- sensing and focusing on areas that need deep tissue and myofsscial release. Im a HUGE advocate of self care to improve posture ergonomics and functional movement.

I treat a wide variety of people- not just athletes. All are welcome, from young children to the elderly. My passion, is for fitness and those living - or seeking- an active lifetime
